Performing Arts

YULA Performing Arts program has been staging productions for over four decades. Our students have shined on-stage in dramas, comedies and thrillers, including Hamilton, The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee, Of Mice and Men, Father of the Bride, Kinder Transport, Little Women and The Diary of Anne Frank.

The YULA Girls Performing Arts program produces one musical and one non-musical during each school year. Each production mirrors the professional stage, from auditions through set construction, sound, lighting design, public speaking skills and leadership training. The Performing Arts program is time-consuming and work-intensive activity through which each student gains the benefits of an arts program as well as the invaluable rewards of cooperative effort.
