Dear YULA Family,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!
The primary goal of the Parent Council is to serve as a bridge between the school administration, faculty, students, and parents. By actively collaborating with these stakeholders, the Parent Council aims to:
- Enhance Communication: The Council will work to improve communication channels between the school and parents, ensuring that important information is relayed effectively and promptly. One initiative they are creating is a WhatsApp communication model, which will be in addition to our communication via email, social media, and Schoology.
- Community Building: Initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and community among parents will be organized. These events will include parent socials for grades at both divisions and other exciting events.
- Parent Involvement: The Council will facilitate ways for parents to engage with the school and contribute to the educational journey of our students. This involvement can include volunteering, participating in school events, Security Appreciation Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, and more.
